  • Visual data: Profile photo, verification selfie

  • Content data: Message content (stored encrypted on our server)
  • Special category data: Gender and matching preference, which may be indirectly associated with sexual orientation and is treated as sensitive data with additional safeguards.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Account creation and identity verification
  • Running the discovery/matching functionality
  • Detecting and preventing fake accounts and fraud
  • Maintaining platform security and service quality
  • Based on explicit consent (optional): for members who tick "Let AI get to know me", AI-assisted processing of profile data to provide personalized match and conversation suggestions — this consent can be withdrawn anytime from the profile page
  • Complying with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis

Identity and contact data are processed on the basis of contract performance and legitimate interest. Gender and matching preference (special category data) are processed based on the explicit consent you provide at registration.

5. Data Security

Your messages are encrypted on our server; the encryption key is kept separately from the database with restricted access. Only messages flagged by automated fraud detection are reviewed by authorized administrators.

6. Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active and for periods required by applicable law. Upon account deletion, your data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where legally required to retain it.

7. Your Rights
